| 1258631 | 2012-02-11 08:48:00 | Hi All Does anyone know of a good ADSL2 modem that has half bridging? I've been using Linksys AM300 modems with RVS4000 routers for a VPN setup between 3 of my stores and one of the AM300's has died. I've tried using a Dynalink RTA1025WV6 which has IP-Extension enabled (I believe thats the same as half bridging) but it keeps droping out and not forwarding the IP address to the router. Anyone have any experience with half-bridging? Cheers |

| 1258632 | 2012-02-11 20:36:00 | The Draytek DV120 does PPPoA -> PPPoE Passthru. I never had much luck with the Dynalinks either, and I stuck to AM300's or the Draytek DV120. There's some VDSL2 ZyXEL modems that do it too, but they're way more expensive. Get in touch with a DV120 distributor by checking out snapper.net.nz -- Snappernet are the main wholesaler. Should set you back around $120-ish? |

I've had a quick look at the manual and just want to confirm that apart from the standard settings all else I would need to do is check the 'PPPoE Pass-though' options that also allows for PPPoA. Sound correct? |
