How on earth could that have happened, it’s been on every Chart since Charts were first produced. :confused: I’ve fished the Reef for many years and I’ll tell you what, the authorities best get their A into G and not stand around doing their traditional hand-wringing because with a decent Easterly there are some good size swells come through which expose some mighty mean rockery. Having said that, they should be able to get some quite large vessels quite close, as it rises sharply out of 60/70m of water. (and dries 1.5m :eek: ). The salvage will be interesting, but shouldn’t rate as particularly difficult, unless, like Pike River, they get the Police to run it. |
