1234584 2011-09-30 06:59:00 i would imagine the alteration would be a min of $20?

i'm more a smith and caughey's time of person  i buy fewer stuff which i probably spend less than an avg person and get on sale.

Unless you particularly love that shirt, as Nomad pointed out, the alteration may cost more than the shirt.

Shop around a bit and try and find a brand that is a pretty good fit. Farmers aren't too expensive and often have sales. Make sure any shirt fits well around the neck and shoulders. Altering a sleeve is less expensive than neck/shoulder area. Did you try it on before you bought it?

1234586 2011-09-30 10:02:00 Yea i tried it on before i bought it. It was tight around the shoulders for medium so i tried large, but sleeves for large is a bit too long, and the sides might be too baggy. Its a bit hard to buy clothes for tall+thin i guess.

Im not sure whether the shirt looks good though....thoughts?

Try buying fr short and thin as in very short it's even harder as at most shops even small is too big, I buy Hallensteins boys 14 most of the time or sometimes Kathmandu have extra small
