Both the iFanz and the apple detesters find this highly satisfactory. The spoils go to marketers and lawyers, which is not so good.

1234663 2011-10-01 03:09:00 Yet another Crapple i(don't work)Phone .

Why don't they just work on getting their current stuff working properly etc . . instead of wasting peoples money .

Hmmm . . funny story . . .

I love Apple products- So much in fact that I pretty much have the iCollection- Even though my main machine is a Vaio (because it sits in the lounge and never moves), I have 3 iBooks, an eMac, a G3 iMac, a G4 iMac & G4 eMac, 2x Intel iMacs (17" white and 20" black) and a MacBook . Plus two Macbook Pros at work .

I also have an iPod Touch in the car and an iPhone 2G, 3Gs and 4 .

They all still work- I'm yet to have any break . I pull out the G3 iBook for kicks sometimes, people don't believe me that an old machine can be as fast as it is . One iMac went in because the screen stopped working, but I had it back and fixed within 2 days .

But before I bought the iPhone 4, I decided to buy an LG Optimus P500 to give android a shot . It was the worst phone experience I've ever had- slow, crappy battery life and a sort of cheap feel to it . So a friend, who tried to tell me that I couldn't go back to my iPhone because android was so much better and that it was my fault for only spending $500 on a phone = = .

So I bought the Nexus S, and I have to say that it is a pretty fantastic phone . That was, after I had moved all of my contacts, found replacements for all of my apps, copied all of my music, pictures and videos back and had everything going as I liked it . It was fast, the screen was beautiful, it had a camera that blew my 3Gs out of the water (I stopped using a digital camera at work and just used my phone, people thought I was crazy) and the battery was on par with the 3GS as well .

Maybe a week later, the problems came . First I couldn't get it to connect to any WPA secured network- WEP worked fine but it wouldn't move past there (my network at home is unsecured) . After that, Android decided to die on me one day and to this day I still can't figure out why- It would just freeze on boot . Two visits to the vodafone shop later and I was getting pretty frustrated with it . Then, halfway through an important call, it reset itself, and wouldn't boot again .

Frustrated, I went into the Vodafone shop in the weekend and came out with an iPhone 4 . I then plugged it in to my computer and quarter of an hour later it had updated, restored my backup and all of my settings- I felt right at home, almost drooled over the retina display and couldn't believe the battery life- I only charge every 3-4 days and haven't had to actually turn the phone off for as long as I can remember . iOS 5 Beta wirelessly syncs everything, so I just walk into the house and put it on the dock by the door . The iCloud beta is awesome as well- Photo Sync is brilliant, I have backups of everything in the cloud, I love iWork and still haven't had the opportunity to try out iTunes Match but think it's going to be great .

I have the argument with everyone- They tell me that Apple products are too expensive, that they break too easy and that I'm limited by the Apple Eco-System and my reply is always the same- I don't mind paying for a product that does what it's supposed to and does it well . I'm still trying to find that experience on other devices and am still left empty handed .

Then again, I don't know why I'm replying to someone who obviously hasn't had the chance and isn't willing to try and use an iPhone, or any apple products . My 2 cents, not trying to start a gigantic debate here or anything :D

1234665 2011-10-01 04:25:00 I think Samsung have come a long way in the last few years, I have sold a lot and I mean a lot of their products, In that time I have seen quite a few Samsung products fall over and Samsung have to be one of the worse for after sale support.
None the less Their quality has made a shift for the better in more recent times.

All the people I know who have had Samsung phones have had trouble with them which has really put me off the Galaxy 2 despite it sounding a good smart phone. Someone I know was told by a person in Noel Leeming that NZ gets all the crap models that they can't sell elsewhere around the world. Don't know if it's true or not but they weren't referring to the Galaxy, however.

Just ignore him.
