Yes, I just needed the SP thanks Chill, I have three genuine MS copies of XP Pro, two still in their shrinkwrap. The were supplied at a very good price direct from MS via a senior staff member friend. The other two were for my kid's computers, but my Daughter elected to stay with W2K at that time and Son bought his own XP notebook and XP desktop box. I have since downloaded SP3 from the Majorgeeks site and the file is an exe. I assume that I just burn it to a CD then run the exe to install it (if and when the need arises)? Cheers Billy 8-{) |
