Prefer to try and future proof it! Yep know it is a little bit over the top but my last PC (3 years old) is a real pain and I'm too old to be stuffing round with rubbish!! Thanks for the input. |

| 1259154 | 2012-02-24 04:14:00 | From memory you want to pick a slightly cpu heavy (as opposed to gpu heavy) computer for video work. Also a nVidia gpu might be a better choice if you're using the adobe suite as i recall that it supports tech like CUDA. I don't know how much of a difference it makes but it might be worth looking into. Also 2600k > 2500k for video work. Gaming is the other way around. | icow (15313) | ||
