| 1259421 | 2012-02-15 23:58:00 | You may have a malware infection. Ive seen some Fake AV ~virus's~ do similar things with associations. Try a system restore(may now be disabled if infected). You really need a AV/spyware scan. |

| 1259423 | 2012-02-16 01:05:00 | The file associations have gotten out of sync thats all, programs have been told to open in word instead of their defaults. Download the zip file from HERE (www.sevenforums.com) Its under number 6 --- open the zipped file, double click the Default_EXE.reg file, agree to any prompts and warning, then your programs should now open as normal. |

| 1259425 | 2012-02-16 02:14:00 | getting back followed wainuitech directions - no change interesting to complete the install of Malwarebytes the laptop needed a reboot which I did, then when I clicked on malwarebytes to open it also became associated with WordPad so I clicked on Open with, choose default program, I navigated to malwarebytes.exe and now all programs are associated with malwarebytes! |
