| 1235362 | 2011-10-04 09:05:00 | I'm in a bind because I've lost my October 2010 issue of PC Authority (Now called PC & Tech. Authority) - its Issue 155, and I need the 4th part of the "Converting VHS to DVD" article. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find out the procedure for obtaining a back issue from the mag.!! Does any kind soul have an issue #155 they either don't want anymore, or could copy that article for me. I will cover all costs of course. |

And obviously a program to record the incoming signal / audio. Then a program to load the finished video so you can burn it to a DVD. And blank DVD's | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

I've tried both software based cards (enconding is done on the pc) an hardware cards (conversion to mpeg2 is done on the card, to anythin else is done on the computer - or after the recording) I think you can still get software based cards (these are the cheap ones like the winfast). Hardware cards like the hauppauge Pvr 150 are also hard to come by as everything is moving digital (dvb-s or dvb-t). Depending on number of tapes it might be worth paying for a company to do it. |
