| 1469690 | 2020-06-19 22:23:00 | Hi guys, I have been thinking about changing my phone these days. My previous one is iPhone 5s which is really out of date . I enjoy taking photos with my camera in general , but the drawback is inconvenient for carrying , so I am thinking about purchasing a new phone with awesome function in terms of photos. Hope you guys give me some advice. 😃 | DanceMonkey (17711) | ||

I virtually never see anyone with a dedicated camera these days. All use cell phones. That applies to me who bought a quite expensive Canon G20 camcorder about 5 years ago. |

| 1469693 | 2020-06-20 01:57:00 | I bought this a few weeks ago as I sold all my Canon DSLR gear as I am getting too old to carry it all. www.canon.co.nz The only one of its type as far as compact cameras go. Has an APS-C sensor and equivalent 35mm - 24-72mm zoom lens. Stunning quality images. Only thing I can fault I with is that I can't make phone calls with it. Ken :) ;) |

However my brothers Samsung S something...7? 8? I forget which, does awesome photos. Can't see it being worse than my camera in fact it's probably better. He shakes it if out of focus and it sorts itself and all done, perfect. |

| 1469697 | 2020-06-20 04:56:00 | Nice camera. What is the audio like when using it in video mode?? I don't know. I use a Sony FDR-X3000 4K Action Cam on a handgrip/mini tripod for video. Once again, stunning images (video) I watch my photos and video on a 4K 65" Panasonic television so I want good quality to start with. SWMBO says I am a pain in the arse, finicky old coot but that's the way I am I guess. Never seen a decent image from a phone that looked as good on my tele as what my stuff produces. That includes from a late model iphone that my son has. Megapixel quantity is not a good way of looking at image quality. Lots of stuff on the net about it. But then, I'm probably boring you all! :) Ken |

| 1469698 | 2020-06-20 05:16:00 | As another point of interest is that Sony and Canon make the lions share of all sensors. "Sony being the 800-pound gorilla in the world of imaging sensors these days, as an estimated half of all sensors (and 70% of all smartphone camera sensors) are made by the company." Ken. |
