1464472 2019-10-11 22:46:00 Hi all.
W10 Toshiba P50 laptop.
My last hearing test shows that I have Only 2% hearing in my left ear & 46% in my right ear. That suggests to me that in Stereo playback I hear almost nothing from the left side. I wondered if I could set the music output into Mono would I hear all of the stereo sound. If that is so, how do I do it. Thanks. PJ

1464474 2019-10-12 00:31:00 Just remember ear phones are a major contributor to deafness, I would be listening to the music at as low a volume as possible, and not for very long periods.

Its about teens, but think how much more fragile your hearing is than their's.

I take your point abot eenagers & earbuds. In us older people it is more what old age & work noise has done this to us. We didnt have earbuds back then. To be near a teenager & hear nois from their earbuds always suprises me. Also at work back then there were no earmuffs at work.. I know of no one in my family who has my level of deafness. PJ

ps. I think my signitue says it all. pj

No earmuffs, my ears used to roar.

1464478 2019-10-13 00:03:00 Do you have hearing aids PJ? With mine I can alter the volume equally across both aids, or singly. I too have much greater hearing loss in one ear, so sometimes crank that one up. John H (8)
