1464368 2019-10-06 06:26:00 I have a text document with lots of double blank lines. I want to replace each of these double blank lines by a single blank line.

How do I do that with OpenOffice Writer?

EG In MS word I'd just search for ^p^p and replace it with ^p. But what do I do in OpenOffice?

Thanks in advance

WHAT I HAVE TRIED:
Regular Expression ticked and
\n\n in "search for"

Also Regular Expression ticked and
$ $ in "search for"

Also Regular Expression ticked and
$$ in "search for"

None of these work.

Yes, I know it's probably not the latest version :-)

Or check your page settings, have you got it set to have double lines or something?
