| 1464352 | 2019-10-05 07:27:00 | Restarted running SETI@home 1 month ago after finding my account was still active after several years. Downloaded BOINK manager and suddenly my HP Laptop started restarting itself several times a day. No indication of any problem. Googled the problem and got scared by the results, so disabled Boink after some thought and since disabling it 1 week ago no more problem. Unable to find mention of the fault anywhere so hoping the experts on here may be able to shed some light on the problem as I would like to continue running SETI. |

| 1464353 | 2019-10-05 07:41:00 | might just be heat, BOINK can push your PC hard if you let it. You can log into your account and set limits to drop the load I let it have 10 % of my CPU for a few months then stopped using it. |

| 1464354 | 2019-10-05 21:37:00 | Thanks Dugi, What you say makes a lot of sense so I have restarted BOINK with 20% and so far no problem. Here's hoping. If worst comes to worst I can always stop it completely. |
