1464125 2019-09-29 00:33:00 I am coming upon this message more and more from different sites:

This site can’t provide a secure connection xxx.com uses an unsupported protocol. The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite. This is likely to be caused when the server needs RC4, which is no longer considered secure.

Using an old XP computer at the moment, so would that contribute to problem as well?

1464126 2019-09-29 01:05:00 Could be the browser you're using maybe, I don't think any of the common browsers have kept up support for XP in a while now.
But it's a guess, I abandoned xp years ago

1464127 2019-09-29 01:42:00 Yes I'm Running the last version of Opera that supports XP, there maybe some newer protocols that don't work with it! Laggard (17509)
1464128 2019-09-29 01:55:00 Check the Computers time and date are correct, if they are wrong then you often get security errors. A few minutes out wont matter.

Opera Stopped supporting XP after V36 The current version is 63

1464129 2019-09-29 03:21:00 Opera36 is still on my XP workhorse.

Had the bad memory stick replaced by IT technician and notice he has put "SlimJet" onto pc, seems to do the job.

Daylight saving shows incorrect time, but have adjusted that and it will be correct on the 2 Oct.

It certainly shows up this W10 lappy for booting 30secs, W10 could go and have a cup coffee, rofl.

1464133 2019-09-29 08:40:00 Have a look at the MyPal browser. "Mypal is a current and maintained Windows XP web browser. Mypal is based on Moonchild Productions' Pale Moon code..."

1464134 2019-09-29 09:08:00 Had a look at Slimjet but came across a few complaints and queries, mostly summed up here:

It all looks a bit convoluted one way or another?
