It's just names we have assigned to days etc. Our time has always been inaccurate, because we try to sync things to certain boundaries like a day being 24 hours, when it is slightly less. We start throwing our phases out like seasons. This is due to simplifying it for us. So every 128 years I think, lost a day if we continued with the gregorian calendar, The one we use, Julian calendar is every 3236 years we gained a day. |

This was a political tradeoff to make conversion to Christianity more palatable to the pagans. The pagans weren't about to readily give up their feast days, so the Christians aligned celebration of Easter to co-incide with the lunar calendar, hence why it's called a "moveable feast". |

Did you been "have been" because your correction makes no sense to me otherwise . In any case it means the same as what I intended to say . Human beings invented words or "made them up" and as such all words are the same in that regard . There's no rule to say anyone can't invent new words for whatever language as they see fit, we aren't stuck with the words we already have forever . And where's the verbal component in these disagreements :) |
