| 1463991 | 2019-09-24 05:07:00 | Hi All. Toshiba Satellite P50-c. Epson Printer WF 3640, (with Fax.) The Computer is hard connected to the printer, not WiFi. The computer will Send to the printer but the Printer will not Send to the computer. Why? Thanks. PJ |

Send to email would be good but It is net set up & it is too complicated for me. At the moment I am tryingto Send to OCR on the computer. What I have to do now is Scan to a USB memory & download into the computer. When I do that& try OCR-ing it it wont. PJ |

| 1463996 | 2019-09-24 09:39:00 | You don't have to scan to a USB drive. Assume you have installed the complete package for the printer ? The basic only contains the printer driver, the full package is needed for full scanning. Generally its better to use the computer to pull a scan from the Scanner rather than the Scanner sending to the computer ( there is huge difference). In the manual, it advises on how to change the scan locations ( so NOT to a USB) files.support.epson.com Type Scan Location in the search. 10017 What OCR software are you trying to use ? The one recommended is in the Downloads - Utilities - ( Last option) EPSON Scan OCR Component v3.00.04. If you did the full Brother software install , there will be Brother software installed on the PC that will be able to do a scan to PC So use the computors Brother software to do this . It wil start the scan & give you a preview & options of what format to save as |
