| 2927 | 1999-09-13 12:51:00 | I have just installed a cd writer in slave mode. I right mouse click the Drive in 'my computer' to check the properties/settings- when i click okay i get an Invalid page fault in module MFC42.DLL and the computer locks up forcing a reboot. I have been thru the HP websites and manuals to no avail. Any ideas? please. Oh I am running Explorer 5 and have no system conflicts, plenty of ram and frequent scan disk/defrags.
