| 2909 | 1999-09-09 14:38:00 | You know the story, subscribe to Newgroups (headers only)and they are piling up. Now I want to get rid of postings 2mths or older. Is there a switch I can select to do this? or do I do this manually. Finally, when I subscribe to a new newsgroup, and synchronise that group, I often see that there are 8000 postings, but (thankfully) it only downloads 1400 or so. Why does it indicate 8000 postings, and can I select the number of messages it downloads a time, as per emails. Thanks...John jhw@xtra.co.nz |
