| 2923 | 1999-09-13 06:22:00 | Can anyone shed any light on suitable settings for my modem? I'm currently using a Dynalink 56k ISA internal modem and am getting sick of getting disconnected all the time. ISP is Xtra and the problems seems to be way worse when reading newgroups and d/loading binaries. Using News Xpress as the news client. I always connect at 48k and have all other phones in the house unplugged while on the net. Thanks, Jeff. |
