I recently re-installed Win98 (because I had to) and the modem display (the icon in the bottom right corner by the clock when you are online) has changed. It used to give me the connection speed with the internet eg 33600 bps or whatever I connected at. Now it says 115200 all the time which is the rate that the browser is communicating with the modem I think. Anyway I was wondering if there was a way to change it back to display my actual internet connection speed. I have a Diamond Supra 56K SP modem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
