| 3073 | 1999-10-02 09:25:00 | I am trying to Defragment my computer by Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Defragmenter-Select Drive C-Click OK- Click Show Details. To view proceedings I Turn off the Screen Saver and under the Power Management I put System Standby - Never Turn Off Monitor - Never and System Standby - Never. My problem is that the Defragment program only gets as far as 10% and stops.The pointer moves freely but everything else freezes up and I have to push the Reset Button on the Tower to restart.
