Hi there. In my regional settings/date category (in control panel) the short date setting always reverts to the american style (mm,dd,yyyy) whenever I change it and reboot, while the long date remains OK (dddd,mmmm,yyyy).Rudimentary Y2k checks say the machine is compliant, but when I recently installed a free file sise monitor, it said it wouldnt work because of the date fault.I looked in Regedit and it indicates dates are OK. Why does the short date in regional settings misbehave in this way, and how can I fix it? |
