| 3119 | 1999-10-07 07:25:00 | Hi, after trying all known alternatives (including the windows shutdown suplement) my computer still freezes on the 'Please wait while windows 98 shutdowns computer screen', the harddrive spools down (because its a dumbass) then spools up again, the light stays on and after about 3 minutes I get the following Bluescreen error: Disk write error, some data may have been lost. I have done a surface scan, and other than being a bit neurotic the Harddisk is all okay. I have a segate hd, ST31277a, a supersocket7 motherboard, windows 98 se, and an amdk62 - 450. PLEASE help! thanks |
