| 3120 | 1999-10-07 08:43:00 | I have a home grown PC built around an ASUS P5A mother board which is home to an AMD K6 11 400 processor and 98K of PC 100 RAM I am running Win95 release 2 Ever since I first started using it the PC has had the habit of emitting a high pitched continuous beep at odd intervals. It does not assume to make difference whether I am doing anything or whether it is sitting idle. I have run the diagnostic programme that came with the M/B and it reports that all is well and running normally Apart from this is runs perfectly and I have no complaints Doe anyone out there have any ideas what may be causing this or what I can do to identify the problem? |
