| 3210 | 1999-10-18 01:18:00 | I have set up a network at home using Win95. One computer is located in my daughter's bedroom. Instead of her borrowing my CD's ( which seem to get lost in her room ) I would like to install the complete cd's to my main hard drive and let her access them through the network. Unfortunately most cd's still ask for the cdrom to be inserted. How can I tell the computer to look on the hard drive instead of the cdrom drive? With the advent of cheap BIG hard drives I coulg install all our frequently used software on the drive and put our cdroms away in storage Can it be done ?? Regards N.J. Henderson Nelson. |
