| 3209 | 1999-10-17 08:17:00 | I intend buying a new modem and would like some advice.Icurrently have a V90 lucent win-modem that connects at 45333kbs and in my opinion downloads far too slowly.About 10 mbs an hour.Trying to play music or watch net video is just hopeless.Too disjointed. Will buying another v90 help? I am thinking of a US Robotics Sportster at about $300. If it wont improve anything, what is the difference between a $300 modem and a $70 one?All coments and advice would be welcome. Jack.(gruschow@internet.co.nz) |
