| 3193 | 1999-10-16 08:30:00 | sometimes but not always on connection to my isp this is discontinued and a blue screen appears with message: microsoft scan disk. 'because windows was not properly shut down,one or more of your disk drives may have errors on it' scan disk goes into action and then windows is launched again. At no time did I attempt to shut down. Once this did occur during a download also. No doubt others have had the same experience,but what causes this and what can avoid this time consuming intervention. I do not appear to have any errors on the hard drive. Thanks |
