| 3178 | 1999-10-15 08:57:00 | My computer is a COMPAQ PRESARIO 4780 desktop with one hard drive of 4.2 GB running Windows 95. I have found that there is a NON-DOS partition of 317 MB sitting on the drive. Is it safe to remove this partition? I am trying to run the PARTITIONMAGIC V4.01 to create a partition for LINUX but the PARTITIONMAGIC refused to operate and kept telling me Error #158 and seems not able to fix this error automatically. Could you lend any help? Thank you and best regards. |
