| 3239 | 1999-10-20 23:19:00 | I have purchased the 'ASUS AGP-V3800 TNT2' card... The advertisement reads as follows: 'Enhanced from the powerful TNT controller, the new generation, the Riva TNT2 128-bit graphics accelerator delivers the highest graphics performance and quality than any others in the industry. Because of ASUS's advanced technology and innovation, ASUS AGP-V3800 is undoubtedly the best TNT2 card in the world to provide you with complete solution to all 3D Gaming, Video Editing, Home Entertainment, VR Stereo, and High-End desktop applications needs.' It mentions VIDEO EDITING which is why I bought this card. OK it has Video in - but no video out ??? How can you edit with this card. I upgraded from a matrox/Rainbow runner that had Video in Video out - editing was a breeze. Tv out is not the same as Video out. (Although I was told this was the function to use). If I select TV out I loose my monitor display. (The card then thinks that instead of outputting to the monitor I want the signal to go to a TV set - which is not the case). I need to have video in - seen on monitor - video out to another video recorder... What do I have to do to get this to work. Do I need another Video card that works with this one - or another card altogether >?? I have tried my dealer but he can't help - He thought it had video out... I have tried the card manufacturer via the net - I have contacted them a few times - always with no reply ... Really anoying. Help |
