Hewlett packard pavillion, Initial start OK, after normal activity ie doing nothing in particular, I select shutdown from the menu, usual window appears 'shutdown-restart etc' shutdown is selected, HP screen appears and restarts immediately, computer was not shutdown correctly, scandisk etc, I work through to a successful restart then attempt to shutdown again in the normal way, provided I don't do anything else it will shutdown in what appears to be a good shutdown (ie. on the second attempt}I am of the opinion that this is a hicup with the Pavilion software, but what?? would appreciate some ideas. |
