| 3303 | 1999-10-30 21:26:00 | Sometimes, whenever I try to open and run a program, without any warning, the computer suddenly re-boots. The results are exactly the same as if I had just pressed the reset button on the box. There are no blue screens or any other error messages, just the screen goes black and I see the startup memory tests etc. I then get the usual message that windows didn't shut down properly and scandisk starts. I have recently formatted the hard drive and installed windows 98 but this problem also occured with the previous windows 95 I had as well. Would be grateful for any suggestions on what may be causing this? Thanks in advance. |
