| 3357 | 1999-11-07 09:05:00 | Two questions really. A colleague has asked me if there is anyway that she can protect a folder on a computer that she works on from a students prying eyes. We already have a network password to stop anyone browsing over the network but nothing on the actual computer. We run Windows 98 and just have a loop style network. Sorry I don't know the name (twisted pair??) for the network. Is there an after market protection system for our folders?? Second query is Microsoft Fax. I helped a client install it on her computer but when she goes to use it, it says the modem is busy or in use. Do I need to set up a second modem driver for the fax? I have a feeling that is what I will have to do, but I'm not too sure. Thanks guys and hope to hear soon. - Kevin Field |
