When I currently dial IHUG the modem will call the ISP and then pick up with the 'bee boo' sound. It will then keep on ringing. After about 30 seconds continuing to ring the two computers will start handshaking at which time the modem hangs up. I have set the 'hangup time if not connected' at longer lengths but seems to hang up at the same time. It does this quite regularly, in fact it seldomly connects first time. It usually takes 4 or 5 goes to connect. Is it a driver? Is it a modem? I believe I have all the settings correct for the modem and dial up properties (sure you have, you say!). Please help! |
