| 3417 | 1999-11-15 12:25:00 | Help! A few times now IE5 has frozen and I have had to CTRL Alt and Del to shut it down. I notice it does this when I try to do too much at once (opening or closing windows etc). The icons on the taskbar next to the clock showing the moden connection, task scheduler and virus shield disappear as well (usually the speaker and the msn messenger icon remain). To disconnect I have to shut down the computer. Is there a way to disconnect from the control panel or similar, and has anyone any idea what is causing the problem. I have win98 and IE5,and have had no connection or other problems. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Cheers |
