1260155 2012-02-20 05:36:00 Firefox just updated and installed a Skipity(something to do with facebook?) toolbar.
Don't want it as it has reduced my area even more than it was:badpc:. How do I get rid of it. Looked everywhere but no option to dump it.:annoyed:

cheers
Colin

1260160 2012-02-20 06:24:00 Is this it? Notifications, Messages, & Alerts for Facebook 10.3 - by Konverts, Skipity (addons.mozilla.org)

You should be able to uninstall it from the Add-on manager.

You probably noticed it as Firefox updates will check for add-on compatibility and install any appropriate updates.

1260161 2012-02-20 06:28:00 Not an add on, plug in or extension.
I accept that it would not be the updater so must be a major coincidence. will run scans to see what pops up.

1260164 2012-02-20 06:51:00 Found this so will see if it works.

If you're like me and use many Firefox add-ons, you may have been surprised today, to find "Skipity" all over your damn browser. You've already looked in add-ons to remove it and couldn't find it. You've gone into View>Toolbars and didn't see it there, either.

Here's how to remove Skipity: Go into Tools>Add-Ons and go right into "Download Youtube" and either disable it, or remove it. That's it. They've paired up with advertisers like Facebook and allowed it to incorporate into places all over your browser. I chose to remove it, since I don't see them changing their decision anytime soon.
