1236921 2011-10-11 23:19:00 No it's America, the engine will be built from melted down horseshoes, the suspension will have been made by Sleepyhead and you would need a petrol tanker following you around :devil

Why is it the Americans think they can build sportscars when it is so obvious to everyone else that they cannot :horrified

1236922 2011-10-11 23:21:00 IMO The Cadillac CTS-V is the only properly sporty american car (well sedan, not a sports car) currently being made. Pretty sure it got around the nurburgring in under 8 mins. In fact I'm sure I heard somewhere that the suspension and chassis was mostly designed in Europe, or by a European, so that explains a lot... wratterus (105)

Yes but in the right hands a Transit van can do it under 10

Ferrari copied the Cadillac suspension, . So there . It is a real commercial in the States that they did . Ferrari endorsed the commercial .

The Cad corners at 1 . 3 Gs too --- on stock tires and rims .

The Camaro engine is a hybrid aluminum casting that uses no crankshaft bearings . The machine work is so perfect that the crank rides directly on the aluminum bosses .

At over 26MPG City - 28MPG Highway, this is a serious contender for a secure place on the Mobil Economy and Automobile Club Fuel Mileage Acceptability lists for the next few years . All that and more horsepower than you'll ever need too .

Yeah - what's the terminal velocity of a Transit off a cliff? 32-per/per - right?

IMO. And that's coming from someone who's sitting about 30 feet from a 2010 Camaro in the garage.
