Ah so, but your vision is very limited grasshopper.

Born here you may have been, as I was, and my parents and grandparents before me, but genetically our roots lie across the oceans and in distant lands.

This also applies to the so called tangata whenua ("people of the land") who were immigrants too, confirmed by genetics as well as their own legends of the great canoe migrations.

Cheers

I am, in fact, a 5th generation Kiwi and have no interest in going to the land of my forefathers.

1236799 2011-10-13 10:08:00 catch a bus and do some walking .... seriously you would spend more on a nice coffee.

or just walk, people walk to pubs or stadiums often......

serious, have you still not collected this parcel?
it seems to me you don't want to collect it because you want to return to seller.
if i was the seller i would give you a negative feedback.

ps - if your girlfriend sent you a parcel - would you RTS too?

Who spends $10 on a cup of coffee or walks 7km to the pub? I don't like spending money on coffee at any rate...especially when i can make my own.

If my girlfriend sent me the parcel, i would just RTS and go get it at her house. Unless her house was even further than the depot.

Doing the maths, its only worth it to go and get the belt if its substantially cheaper than buying one in a local store. And i havent gotten to go get it yet because i dont have time (classes, and the depot closes at 12pm everyday).

Go get your package, run. Wouldn't take any longer than 2 hours. Or just take the bus?

You would be the type of person, that if you had a car you would park right outside a shops front entrance, so you would only have to walk a few feet.
Are you unable to walk ?
And why did you buy a belt off eBay in the first place ?

>Walking 14km to get a belt
Okay, you go do that if you want. I walk almost everyday, on average i would say it takes me about 20-25 mins to walk 1.5 km.

I bought a belt off ebay because it was cheap, decent looking belts in NZ stores are about $40.
