1236776 2011-10-12 02:17:00 Ok, I have had this. With NZPost, the one that comes on the bike.
They send a card saying collect from where-ever and you can. But you can also ask for them to deliver again.
It is similar to Courierposts options.

You can also, if there's some hassle they consider, delivering stuff, tell them to leave it anyway. And they will.

Thats funny, because i just called NZ post at 0800 501 501 and they told me they cannot redeliver or redirect anything.
Question (15792)
1236778 2011-10-12 03:01:00 I don't think this will happen with an international postal item though. It happened to me a few months ago, and the only options I had were to pick it up from an obscure depot off Marua Road that I never knew existed. Or leave it, and they'd return to sender. I asked at the time why it was it couldn't be returned to a NZ Post Shop, or re-delivered, and the answer they gave was essentially what I commented on in my post. WalOne (4202)

So don't give the posties a hard time.

[/QUOTE]

unless they dont even bother with putting the card to call in my letterbox..
luckily 3/4 of my overseas purchases often have online tracking (even for post), so I know when the postie has stuffed up.....

Apparently this happens with all non registered packages that NZ post can't fit into your mailbox. I still think its their fault though...they should just leave it at the nearest post shop for the person to pick it up. That's the logical thing to do. Going 7km away to get a package...that should only happen if you live in a terribly backward country or in a remote, rural area like the mountains.

Also got a response from the seller, package is the belt.
Question (15792)
1236783 2011-10-12 10:29:00 So, if you want the belt go get it.

Alternatively leave the belt to go back.

Also, I would suggest you go back to where you came from and you will be able to buy anything you want.

I do wonder why the belt will not fit in your mailbox?

That is gratuitously offensive and totally unnecessary.

Everybody in this country (without exception) (wysinger.homestead.com) originally came from somewhere else. It is just a matter of time scale.
