| 1236090 | 2011-10-31 19:18:00 | I see they are thinking of taking my advice. They are "thinking" of fitting gps tracking devices to some of the containers with dangerous goods in them. Surely they should have done this weeks ago, and to every container. They have not found all of the first lot that fell off. Just wait till there are hundreds bobbing around. That would be a huge danger to shipping and small boats etc. There is bad weather coming, they have lost the window to get some of them off. Yes Digby they have lost the window to get them off only because they were/are pumping the oil off first which is the number one priority. They cannot do both jobs at once. :) |

| 1236094 | 2011-10-31 20:55:00 | Think about it Digby. :) I have. If they are pumping oil, from say the rear port of the ship, then that leaves the rear starboard and the fore port and fore starboard from whence they can lift the containers. So please answer my question with more than two words. |

Do you think cruise liners and big ships and small yachts would like to try to come to Tauranga if there are hundreds of containers bobbing around semi submerged. It could close our second largest port for months ! |
