1235979 2011-10-12 21:03:00 Well that would be your cleverest post yet.

Clever enough that it went right over your head.

There was a lesson there, aimed straight at you.

1235984 2011-10-12 21:49:00 we are getting indoctrinated with the Pom way of doing things

So your saying the locals were displaying a false light to lure the ship onto the reef with the idea of doing a little light wrecking? The English wouldn't have f*&cked around like this they would have had tugs there on day one

Seems to me that you continually make the least amount of sense...

I'm sure that better action could have been taken in a more suitable time frame and that suitable resources should have been available, That still doesn't give your dribble any credibility.

What we need is the right people to put a credible plan into action, Racing out on the high tide to pull a fully laden and unstable cargo ship with a freaking hole in it into deep water would have been the height of madness.

Only slightly more stupid is the notion of a second set of barges to tow it back onto the reef when it started to sink.

1235986 2011-10-12 22:08:00 B.M - I would suggest you pull your head in and quit taking childish digs at other members. I've counted at least three in this thread alone. Any more, and you will be out. Jen (38)
1235987 2011-10-12 23:25:00 . . . they won't want to expose their kids to this stuff in the sand and people that have dogs with them on the beach will think twice as well

Does that mean the bits of beach without dogs are now on a 'more equal footing' with the bits where the dogs have been? ;)
