1235666 2011-10-06 17:51:00 No. My house is dirty only when I'm busy fixing the computer. Computer ok - clean house. pctek (84)
1235667 2011-10-06 18:29:00 It pays to have breaks from the computer and go and do something else. I was taught that you should have at least a ten minute break from the computer every hour. Quite often this break is much longer than ten minutes while I do housekeeping chores or go out and work in the garden.

On rare occasions when the computer goes away for repair I am left with the blank screen and keyboard on my desk.

1235668 2011-10-06 18:54:00 My house is never tidy or extremely clean, i have children and animals......... and i hate house work with a passion....... id rather do any thing else before house work....

but i must say i dont spend as much time on the computer as i did, i do do other things, and sometimes even the dreaded house work.....

:D
but i found if it was broke (computer) , come hell or high water it would be fixed before anything was done at my house....:)

1235669 2011-10-06 23:01:00 Excellent prioritisation! A busted 'puter needs urgent attention - housework does not fade away with time and neglect - it actually thrives on it.
A fixed 'puter stays fixed for a while, but a clean house is one of the fastest degrading things on the planet.

1235673 2011-10-07 00:18:00 People who put things away in an appointed spot the moment they have been used suffer a dreadful handicap. Those of us who put things in a heap as they are used know that stuff in the bottom of the pile is the most expendable, while that near the top has at least been used once in the last month or two. When Dragons insist something has to go, the dustiest stuff goes first, an immediate reason why it didn't justify cleaning. Unfortunately Dragons cannot see the merits in this scheme, and so stuff gets cleaned and stored tidily, only to be thrown away; a dreadfully inefficient system.
A tidy desk is a sign of messy drawers.
