| 3463 | 1999-11-23 06:26:00 | The question which follows arose after I read the 'Big Dog Hard Drives' article in the latest PCWorld: Do HDDs of the same family (e.g. IBM 22GXP, or Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 5120), but of varying size, perform pretty much identically? For example, (with reference to the article) would a smaller Maxtor DM+ 5120 still outperform the 22Gb IBM in file copying tests? Cheers |
