| 3542 | 1999-12-04 11:10:00 | When I click on IE I immediately get a message with the title Iexplore on top saying 'This program has performed illegal operation and will be shut down'Hitting the details button brings up several lines of numbers which mean nothing to me. If I click on close IE goes from the screen, but my modem continues making the connection. If I ignore the message or drag it off the monitor IE continues to load and works perfectly. From this I assume that the message is a phony. If I click on OE the message does not appear. I tried uninstalling IE5 and going back to IE4, but exactly the same. So I downloaded a fresh copy of IE5.1 and installed it and everything works well except for the message card. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this. It's got me beat. Jack Gruschow |
