| 3610 | 1999-12-13 07:01:00 | Have been having trouble turning the computer on. This has been an on going problem and the company I brought it off don't seem able to fix the problem (this has been one of a few problems I have had with it and it is not even a year old yet). Basicly what is happening is that it takes 2 or more pushes of the On Button to get the computer to start. Once it is running everything is fine. It also appears to shutdown ok. This as you can guess is very annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is it something I am doing (or not doing)? Does the length of time it is off affect this? I have a: AMD K6-400 CPU Chaintech MVP3 motherboard (I think, has been replaced) 64MB SD-RAM 100Hz Asus 40x CD-ROM Soundblaster PCI64 Soundcard Asus Voodoo Banshee 16MB AGP Video Card TVM 15' Didital Monitor 100MB Internal Zip Drive Quantam Fireball EX 6.4Gb Hard Disk Any help very much appreciated. Jeff Shelley. |
