| 3596 | 1999-12-11 01:17:00 | During boot up and shut down my monitor goes to sleep, and I cannot see the message line that says when it is safe to swithc the computer off. I am using a Pentium 133 running Windows 98, It was OK until I bouth a new Viewsonic E651 monitor. I installed teh driver that cam with the monitor. I turned off Power Management in the CMOS and in the Windows Control Panel. Viewsonic say it is a software proble, but my old mointor does not go to sleep, and I get the 'safe to shout down now' message. But not on the new Viewsonic. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Don |
