I occasionally edit the registry as it gives me more control over the system...but after installing an anti-trojan program i found that when i run regedit.exe a dialogue box pops up and says 'registry editing has ben disabled by your administrator'
I have uninstalled the program, because it also blocks the ports needed for ICQ. This did nothing apart from getting rid of the consol...the ports were still blocked...i then typed in icq's ip adresses and now icq works fine but i still can't registry edit and i think that there are some prots blocked by this program. |
