3662 1999-12-23 03:26:00 saw your article in Dec.PC World mag.'crashes happen'.Had to try out the boot from floppy disk...! Switched of the computer and rebooted using Win95 startup disk and noted that no cd.driver was pressent. I added the driver to the floppy and checked if the driver had been added to it by double clicking the floppy A icon.The floppy's window came on screen but in the small format so I changed to the normal windows format:the next thing was that the screen froze and I had to switch off the computer.The m.c.boots normally from the harddrive but I cannot boot it from a floppy disk.The floppy works fine ones Windows is loaded. Could you please give a clue how to fix this.Thanks a lot,have a good Christmas and best wishes for the new millenium.
I'm running Windows95 on a homemade computer 2.4gig harddrive, 32mb.memory.200mHz Pentium Pro CPU.American Megatrend Bios chip.
