OK Heres the thing. I bought Unreal Tournament the other day and It told me that my 3d accelerator (nVidia Vanta 16meg) was incompatible with the direct3d support and I needed to get the newest drivers for the card. I downloaded the drivers from the nVidia website and installed the and it shafted my system. Apparently my card was incompatable with those drivers. Once I got the old drivers back in it went back to nor mal again, but I still want to use direct3d in the game. Since the crashinf incident all other game I have have suffered somewhat when they were fine before - now skipping frames and slowing down all the time. What do I do?? I have a PIII-450, 128megs RAM, and the aforementioned 'nVidia Vanta 16meg AGP VGA card' what ever that means. |
