| 3701 | 2000-01-03 10:33:00 | I have an AST dx2-66mHz which at times isn't as bad as it seems. I need to upgrade my memory to 32MB - easy to do ??? Does it matter what memory I buy ??? If so which ??? My hard drive is 540MB and obviously too small. I want to format it, what do I need to do before I do so ??? Do I have to make any disks so I can reinstall windows, or can I just use my CD-ROM ???? I have Win95. Or should I buy a 2nd hard drive - a bigger one !!! and use it as the master drive and leave our tiny thing as the slave ??? Easy job ??? How do I convert old information from my 'old' slave to my 'new' master ???? Cheers anyone that answers, MiShY |
