After reading Real Problems, Real Solutions in issue 123, I reloaded the w95 fax software as detailed. However this has stuffed up Outlook, writing over or deleting the mapistub.dll file with the result being, everytime you open Outlook you get an error message saying Outlook is not your default mail programme. A quick look on the Web told me that this is a common problem when you reload the fax software. Have found no satisfactory fixes on the web other than to reload Outlook which I am loath to do. Maybe your readers should be warned that this will happen if they download the old w95 fax!!
