I ordered and paid for a 8.4gb HD when building a new system 9mths ago. It has now crapped out and needs to be replaced. Upon taking the drive out it was found to be a 4.2gb with extra readers to make 8.4gb. Before I make a scene is anyone out there able to tell me the legal side to this. I assumed that because I had ordered and paid for a 8.4 I could reasonably expect to get a genuine 8.4 installed under the fair trading act. Please reply here or direct to duckyduck@inet.net.nz so that I can decide what steps to take before I approach the dealer.
TIA. |
